PREMISE
The seminar constitutes an important opportunity to talk about the innovative Feldenkrais Method, an individual self-learning process based on a close integration between movements, sensations, feelings and thoughts which has as its aim the efficient functioning of the human body obtained through the impulses received from the system nervous. The Feldenkrais Method was created in 1949 by Moshé Feldenkrais, considered worldwide among the most expert trainers in the treatment of children suffering from infantile cerebral palsy, but also of those who show disorders such as stroke, autism, attention deficit (ADHD ) or genetic syndromes, adults affected by stroke or with problems related to posture and balance.
The Method, characterized by a sweet and delicate approach, is based on the concept of neuroplasticity and helps the brain to create new connections and to learn spontaneously starting from existing skills. The conference is open to 40 people in attendance and 60 people via streaming connection. Of exceptional interest is the presence of Dr. Norman Doidge.
The famous North American psychiatrist, psychoanalyst and researcher who has always been involved in the study of neuroplasticity, who defines me as the "faculty that allows the brain to modify its own structure and functioning in reaction to mental activity and experience." . In his book, Healing of the Brain, the author delves into the theme of neuroplastic healing, describing two central elements: physical and mental exercise, and the use of energy, in the form of lights, sounds and vibrations. The brain is no longer an impenetrable box, but an organism capable of connecting to the external world through the senses, and these are precisely the channels to be exploited to intervene in a non-invasive and completely safe way on the neuronal structures, so as to recover their functions.
The course is reserved for 40 participants in presence and 60 via webinar, and open to Surgeons specialized in Neurology, child Neuropsychiatrists, Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, General Practitioners (GP), Pediatrics, Orthopedics and Traumatology, Physiotherapists, Logopedists, Developmental Neuro-Psychomotor Therapists of Developmental Age, and Psychologists.
The course is also open to AIIMF teachers.
The event is organized by The “Giovanni Leoni” Foundation, which will benefit from the proceeds.

The Barbantini room is located on the first floor of the Foundation on the Island of San Giorgio in Venice.
Vaporetto number 2 stops at San Giorgio (red number on the boat), both for those coming from the railway (Santa Lucia station), from Piazzale Roma, from Tronchetto, from Zattere, and for those arriving from San Marco (San Zaccaria stop, pier B)

Given the nature of the event, Med.Lav.Ecm srl has decided not to receive any profit from the management of this event, therefore the registration fees will be paid to the Giovani Leoni (young lions) Foundation. What will be achieved from the event is intended to support the Foundation's objective, which is to raise funds to support the scientific experimentation project on treatment with the Feldenkrais® Method.
